Success Is Now – The Promise of Practical Way

Personal development, successful leadership and positive living – these are what Practical Way is all about. Are you feeling successful yet? If so, great! Just as failure is a state of mind so is success. You are what you think. Just keep yourself in a positive state and don’t let negative circumstances get into your mind. Stay focused on what you want to become (i.e. to become successful) and you will become successful.

Now it’s time for a recap of what we have so far here at Practical Way.

At the outset, with Success as YOU Define IT we defined what success is and most importantly what it means for other people. Different people have different interpretation for the meaning of success as it all hangs in what they ultimately desire; it’s the satisfaction of one’s desires.

With Are You Cut-Out To Become Successful? we determined that no one is really cut-out for success. The responsibility of creating success out of ourselves rests upon us. As Elaine Maxwell put it, “…whether I fail or succeed shall be no man’s doing but my own.

And of course we discussed the different qualities of successful leadership. In Leaders Are Everywhere we talked about how each of us has the potential to become not just leaders but great leaders. Many of us just don’t realize it yet as many of us are overwhelmed with pessimism. In the Qualities of Great Leadership series, in Part 1 , we have seen how enthusiasm is indispensable for successful leadership. We also dealt with how one can become enthusiastic. In Part 2 we revisited the importance of persistence and talked about why it is essential to attain success. No success had ever been achieved without it. Part 3 shared the joy of constant learning and discussed why it is essential for success. As the words of Henry Ford Put it, “Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at 20 or 80. Anyone who keeps learning stays young.”.

Is humility part of the success game? Part 4 certainly says yes and exposes what humility is and what it is not and how it brought success to some of the great leaders in the last century. In Part 5 we talked about how successful leaders make things happen by effective goal-setting. Part 6 and Part 7 exposes how powerful desire catapulted people to take immediate action. In Part 8 we have shown why focus is necessary for optimum success. (Even Bruce Lee never did without it.)

Some of the effective ways to boost self-esteem is shown in Self-esteem – Ways To Boost Your Self-esteem Now. I highly recommend that you go back to this post now to see how it will help you get out of the awful hole you are in as far as self-esteem goes.

Finally, in Successful Leaders’ Tool for Success (one of the best posts we’ve had so far), we have discovered the most effective means to stay positive that no matter what your resourcefulness will see you through any difficult circumstances.
