The Ayala group of companies, in their continuing commitment to develop young Servant-Leaders for the country, is pleased to announce the call for nominations to the 11th National Ayala Young Leaders Congress (AYLC 2009).

The AYLC brings together 70 of the most outstanding student leaders from the country’s leading schools and universities to a three and a half-day program consisting of workshops, lectures, outdoor challenge activities, and focus group discussions. The Congress develops the students’ leadership skills and inspires them to work for the good of the country. AYLC 2009 will be held from February 10 to 13, 2009 at the San Miguel Corporation - Management Training Center in Alfonso, Cavite.

We are looking for college students in their penultimate year with outstanding track records of leadership, personal excellence and desire for service. Attached are guidelines for nomination as well as the nomination and application forms. Please note that AYLC 2009 will only accept applications from students nominated by the School President or the official School Representative (as listed in the Official School Nomination Form). Only one set of nominees will be accepted per school.

Please review all the forms submitted by the students and cross check these for accuracy. We will rely on the school to vouch for the veracity of the nominee’s data. Kindly accomplish the attached Official School Nomination Form and place it in a sealed envelope. Enclose this and all Student Application Forms in a large brown envelope and send by courier or hand deliver to the following address not later than 5:00 PM of 25 August 2008:
